Widespread protests has forced Iran to abolish its morality police, the country’s prosecutor general reportedly said. The country has been witnessing violent protests after a 22-year-old woman, Mahsa Amini, died in the custody of the morality police after she was detained over improper hijab. Earlier, it was reported that the parliament and judiciary were reviewing the decades-old hijab law.
