Illicit Activities Uncovered as Over 3 Dozen Detained in Bhopal Spa Raids.......

In a major crackdown on Saturday night, the Crime Branch conducted simultaneous raids at four spa centres in Bhopal, targeting establishments in MP Nagar, Bag Sewania, and Kamla Nagar. The operation led to the detention of over three dozen individuals, including several women, found in compromising situations within private cabins.

The raids, initiated under the directives of Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra, were confirmed by ACP Mukhtar Qureshi. Besides the four main locations, six additional spas were also targeted, although some owners fled before authorities arrived.

At one spa in Bag Sewania, police discovered 21 women and 18 men in compromising positions. Similar scenes were uncovered at other spa centres, leading to the seizure of objectionable items, including medicines and materials linked to illicit activities.

Among those detained, one woman is suspected to be a foreign national, though her identity remains unverified. Legal proceedings against the detainees are set to follow once the investigation concludes.
